Worship is a word often used in religious life and texts.

It can involve giving praise or adoration to God or another divine power. It can also mean submitting to God or a service given to God.

It often involves having a particular attitude. Worship can be any act that praises, submits, etc. to God.

For some religious people, worship is everything a person says or does for the pleasure of God. For others, an act of worship could be anything from a simple prayer or an elaborate ceremony. It can be performed individually or in a group.
