In Islam, du’ā is making a request or asking for help from Allah.
Du’ā is an important part of Islamic worship. It is a way of communicating and connecting with Allah.
Unlike the formal five daily prayers (salah) which have specific timings and rituals, duʿā is more flexible. It can be made at any time, in any place, and in any language.
Through du’a, Muslims show that they know only Allah has the power to grant or deny their hopes and dreams.
