Evangelism or evangelisation is the Christian practice of spreading their message (preaching) about Jesus Christ.

Christians might preach to other Christians or to non-Christians. The goal of evangelism is to help people receive salvation and persuade them to join Christianity.

Christians usually evangelize to people who have not heard of or have denied God.

Jesus commanded his disciples to convert people to Christianity. This is why some Christians evangelize today.
